ℹ️ This article will help you to get started with your course after you have enrolled.

Good to know

All the learning materials you need can be found in your course.
Saylor Academy courses are self-paced: you can begin anytime and learn on your own schedule.
Your enrolled courses are found on your Saylor Academy account dashboard. If you see no courses, be sure you have enrolled in at least one course.
Starting a course on the mobile app works differently than in a desktop or mobile browser.

Begin your course

Below, we'll use BUS101 as an example course.

Log in to your Saylor Academy account.
From your account dashboard, select one of your enrolled courses. (You can also bookmark your course in your web browser and visit your course page directly.)
On the course page, read any introductory material, then scroll down to find and click on Unit 1.
On the Unit 1 page, you will find a short introduction, the unit learning outcomes, and each of the learning resources that are need to complete the unit.

For example, under sub-unit 1.1: Business Basics, you will find the first lesson of the BUS101 course, a set of readings titled, "What is a Business?"
You will complete the study material at your own pace and schedule.
Continue with the following learning resources until you complete Unit 1, then continue to the following units, through to the end of your course.
